Course Description
Humans define themselves (and the world they live in) through the stories they choose to tell. This seminar explores the form, format and focus of stories involving love, passion, and (eventual/inevitable) betrayal. We will collaboratively select and consider stories that range from The Odyssey to the graphic novel Fun House. Our scope of study will allow us to foray from print to opera, theatre, film, and new media forms like YouTube. An important part of this seminar will be creating and sharing your own stories. Because this is a Writing Intensive FYSem, you do not need to register for English 1110.
