Abstract
This capstone is a document that answers the question, does integrating all types of students with inclusionary practices help promote better learners? It documents a social studies teacher's journey from student to teacher in a school that uses inclusion to meet the needs of all learners. These experiences influenced the author to find answers as to why inclusion has been met with great success. The author researches numerous educational journals related to inclusion and special needs children. With the use of questionnaires answered by primary sources, the students and the teachers of a residential school, the author found evidence of the many benefits of using inclusion.
