Abstract
The capstone question explores the research regarding effective intervention programs for very young learners with Autism. The increase of the numbers of children with autism and the need for appropriate programming were a catalyst for the search for the elements that were essential in order to insure success for young learners with Autism. Committee members were key influences in the framework of the study. Data from the most current research was used from a survey conducted by the Minnesota Department of Education and interviews from individuals who provide services to young learners with Autism. Analysis from the data revealed that educators in Minnesota require essential elements for successful programming that correspond with findings from the current research.
