Explore the rationale for serving gifted learners! Consider affective, cognitive, and other characteristics of advanced learners. Learn the importance of identifying their strengths and needs. Address the characteristics of gifted learners from diverse populations, including students of color, English language learners, early childhood, learning disabled, and underachievers. Target audience: educators, gifted coordinators, administrators K-12. NOTE: This course is required for completion of the Gifted Education Certificate.
