Course Description

This class is intended to provide review of Administrative Licensure Competencies for an additional MN administrative license, as a Director of Special Education, by a candidate holding another MN administrative license, or by a candidate holding a Director of Special Education license from another state. All administrative licensure candidates must complete the Initial Competency Assessment (ICA) addressed in the introductory course for any administrative license. Students will assess themselves on their knowledge, experience, and skills for the state-established competencies in the licensure area as cited in MN Statute 3512.010. They will also explore, examine, and create plans for their own growth and development in selected administrative competency areas.
