Course Description
This course is designed to help students develop an understanding of the various types of exceptionality and the significance of legal aspects, placement, parental involvement, and professional support in educational practice. It surveys areas of exceptionality such as learning disabilities, physical and mental disabilities, emotional and behavior disorders, and giftedness, and considers their impact on classroom learning. It addresses educational practices for responding to the needs of students with exceptionalities.
