Course Description
Access the developmental progress of young children with little or no disruption to the instructional process. Learn to administer and collect assessment samples on a daily basis in order to document students' demonstration of skills, knowledge, behavior and accomplishments. Checklists, grids, and prompts provide an efficient, effective measure of student progress and lessen the amount of time spent with formal, individual assessments. Extend student learning and meet individual needs by assessing tasks easily measured during instruction. Target audience: teachers K-1.
