Abstract
This Capstone project is a resource guide providing information on three topics in relation to the Hmong. The research for this capstone focused on the Hmong culture and education, the Hmong language and characteristics and learning styles of Hmong students compared and contrasted with those of the American culture. This guide is intended not only for ELL teachers working with Hmong students but also for all teachers working with students from any culture. This guide is a framework for understanding new teaching strategies that might be helpful when interacting with diverse cultures.
