Abstract
With the growing interest schools have in developing 21st century skill in their student body many teachers are looking for safe and appropriate ways to introduce technology into their classrooms. This work identifies the elements, including technological and pedagogical, of effectively introducing Weblogs, into a Secondary School Social Studies classroom setting. It includes detailed Unit and Daily lessons along with explanations and reflections on their success and effectiveness. The Unit and Daily lessons are not exclusive to any one academic subject and can be used in other content areas. The effect Weblogs have on student learning is clear and examples of student work are included.
