Abstract
This research study discovers the support that a peer coaching model can offer to teachers at small private schools. The capstone's guiding question was: How can a peer coaching model be designed and implemented to support teachers at a small private school? This capstone details best practices of professional development and current research on the topic of peer coaching, citing the work of Barbara Gottesman and Stephen Barkley. It includes detailed descriptions of each step in the peer coaching process as well as research on the importance of trust and confidentiality in coaching relationships.
