Abstract
This case study chronicles the life of one family who recently immigrated to Minnesota as refugees from Togo, West Africa. The father of the family came to the United States two years prior to the rest of the family, who at the time of their arrival were made up of a wife, a four year-old daughter, and a seven year-old son. Months after the family's reunification in the United States, the father passed away from illness. This is a descriptive qualitative case study of the family using interviews and observations.
