Abstract
My Capstone project researches and summarizes the effectiveness of an academic monitoring system that shows evidence identifying knowledge gaps in the area of mathematics. This research specifically evaluates the American education system to identify the effectiveness of academic monitoring systems already in place. In the methodology and results chapters, a small study of six students was completed to track their successes and interventions throughout one academic year in the area of mathematics. The academic monitoring system used in the study is a proprietary system called the SABIS Academic Monitoring System.
