Abstract
This is a single subject narrative inquiry. The researcher entered in the Master of Arts in Education program in the U.S.A. about 40 years after graduating from university in Japan. Her values or old views clashed with her new experience, and she had struggled and not been able to created one big picture of learning. After five-years participation, she reached the perspective of Having questions is the beginning of learning. She is interested in her own experience to know how and why she has a new view of learning. Mezirow's (2000) Transformative Learning Theory frames this narrative inquiry and guides her personal journey.
