Abstract
The research question presented and addressed in this project was, Best Practices in Developing Multicultural Art Education Programs. This question covers six categories on how to prepare to develop multicultural art lessons. The categories include why multicultural art education is important, stages of multicultural art education, integrating multiethnic art, organizing multicultural art education curricula, best practices in how students learn, and best practices in multicultural art education. The conclusion of this project was the creation of a checklist to help art educators prepare to create multicultural art lessons.
