Developing an honors level African-American history curriculum
The goal of this capstone project was to create an honors level African American history curriculum. The methodology involved using a combination of various organizational strategies such as Understanding by Design, various state history standards, and university syllabi. The literature supported why we need this curriculum, and the results are the curriculum. The conclusion answers the questions 1) Why do we need it? 2) How is it organized?
