Abstract
The research question addressed in this capstone was what are the academic and financial gains for the four-day school week? The motivating factor for this capstone was the financial situation that our school district was in. In order for us to discover if the four-day week was beneficial for our district we examined the following factors: transportation costs, gas and utility costs, participation and performance of athletics, food service costs, attendance records and academic success.
