Abstract

Our world community today is becoming an increasingly diverse place. It is imperative to learn lessons from the past and look forward to a future of peaceful co-existence and tolerance. The theatrical production that I wrote and directed, Never Again: Voices of Remembrance will help to create awareness and educate people about the Holocaust, and the lessons it has to teach to honor and respect our differences. The lessons of the Holocaust will hopefully help us to counter hate crimes, stereotyping, harassment, and scapegoating. My capstone includes research about the Holocaust and background information for the script and characters as well as the actual process of writing and directing the theatrical production.
