Abstract
The research questions addressed in this project were, what does it mean to have a rigorous high school curriculum and what are student and staff perceptions about rigor at my school? The author documents rigorous elements of instruction and how the integration of those elements affects student motivation and achievement. The project analyzes one school's student and staff responses to surveys about their educational experience.
