Abstract
The research question in this project was what are the long term influences on occupation, lifestyle and environmental views from participation in the Alaska Great Lakes Project? The motivating factor for this capstone was the desire to see where participants are today and what this unique residential outdoor education experience did for them. The capstone details former participants' reactions to how they feel the Alaska Great Lakes Project influenced their career choices, their lifestyle choices, their views on the environment as well as how the project impacted their leadership skills. The author surveys and analyzes participants' responses to find that there is a correlation between participation in the Alaska Great Lakes Project and how one feels about the environment.
