Course Description
Explore the intersection of theory and practice. Examine historical and contemporary methods for teaching lanaguge. Develop lessons that focus on reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary for a variety of ages, proficieny levels, and educational contexts. Learn to write language and content objectives, align standards, objectives, assessment, and activities to ensure purposeful instruction. Cultural theory and development will also be discussed. Target audience: persons seeking ESL licensure.
