Course Description
Explore real-world, practical strategies for effectively integrating technology in the curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Discover how to use technology to support student learning, foster collaboration among students and colleagues, and extend knowledge through professional networks. Sessions will address a variety of tools and strategies, including blogs, podcasts, wikis, digital storytelling, interactive white boards, screencasts, and more. Discuss best practices for using technology in your classroom and access a wide array of technology-enhanced lessons, resources, and curriculum ideas. A team of teaching professionals will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, strategies, techniques and tools for technology integration. This innovative institute evolved from a 2008-2009 Enhancing Education Through Technology (E2T2) Grant, where 25 local teachers explored real word, practical strategies for effectively integrating technology in their curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Keynote presenter: Tim Wilson. Target audience: educators K-12.
