Course Description
Look at models of bilingual/bicultural education in practice around the country, parental and community involvement in a program, and its effects on the participants' children.Study the areas of controversy and develop a personal belief statement for bilingual education. Apply the theory to a case study of a particular bilingual/bicultural education program. Target audience: bilingual/bicultural teachers, students seeking additional licensure in Bilingual/Bicultural education.
