Course Description
Goals: To select and implement developmentally appropriate materials and activities for the teaching of health in the elementary classroom. Content: Basic concepts, skills, and knowledge to teach health at each grade level; group activities and/or classroom involvement with elementary school children. Taught: Fall and Spring terms. Prerequisites: EDU 3150, EDU 3250, EDU 5690, and admission to Undergraduate Teacher Education program. Note: Concurrent registration in EDU 3350, EDU 3360, and EDU 3380 is recommended. Credits: 1 credit
