Goals: To introduce students to a sampling of major theories of motivation with concentration on approaches most relevant to human behavior and to help them discover convergent positions and use motivation theory in self-discovery. Content: Psychodynamic theory, physiological mechanisms, achievement theory, attribution theory, organizational behavior, and aggression and altruism. Taught: Annually Prerequisites: PSY 1330 (grade of C- or better); PSY 3350 is recommended Credits: 4
