Course Description

(Also listed as LGST 3100) Goals: To study the role of the courts in the development of the American Constitution. To introduce students to the “rule of law” concept in Anglo American judicial history. Content: Study of the United States Constitution and U.S. Supreme Court cases on separation of powers, federalism, civil liberties and civil rights. Taught: Annually Note: This course is applicable to majors and minors in Political Science and Legal Studies, regardless of whether it is taken as PSCI 3100 or LGST 3100. This course will not count as breadth of study for either major. Students may not earn credit for both PSCI 3100 and LGST 3100.
