Goals: To introduce students to the field of communication studies by providing an overview of approaches to studying communication in a variety of contexts. Content: An examination of the research and theory related to the dynamics of human communication. The process of attributing and sharing meaning, the effects of nonverbal behavior on interpretation and meaning attribution, the factors influencing interpersonal, small group, organizational, intercultural, and media in the digital age.
