Genre Writing: Delving into Romance, Horror, Mystery, and Sci-Fi Prerequisite: WRIT 3000 or permission of the instructor In this course, we'll explore the fast-paced, bodice-heavy, blood-soaked, and robot-driven genres of Romance, Mystery, Sci-Fi, and Horror. This class will give you a taste of the genre forms and the opportunity to start your books in each of these categories. The class will be part text analysis and class discussion and part writing and critique. Be prepared to immerse yourself in some new and exciting worlds. Instructor: Megan Atwood
