Goals: To learn about the different types of family forms and changing functions of the family as a basic social institution. A social problems focus. Contents: Dating, family violence, divorce, and alternatives to marriage. Prerequisite: SOC 1110 or WSTD 1010. Taught: Annually. Credits: 4 credits
