Course Description
Goals: To develop an acquaintance with the literary and theological characteristics of the New Testament, and to understand the process of its formation. A student should develop skill as an interpreter (exegete) of the biblical text. Content: The literature of the New Testament, using the methods of historical-critical analysis, answering questions such as: By whom written? To whom written? When written? Meaning to authors and to the Christian community to whom they were/are addressed? Taught: Annually. Credits: 4 credits
