Course Description
Goals: Students will be able to describe how physical activity affects the functioning of specific systems of the human body. Content: Cell and tissue function, nervous system, endocrine system, cardio-respiratory and lymphatic systems, bioenergetics, body composition, the affect of training and diet on human performance. Taught: Annually. Prerequisites: BIOL 1120 and PHYS 1130, or CHEM 1100, or permission of instructor. Credits: 4 credits
