Course Description
This course will cover the fundamentals of statistical data analysis: elementary probability, descriptive statistics, parametric and nonparametric tests of hypotheses, analysis of variance, correlation and regression. Statistical computing will be in R and, if time is available, SPSS. Prerequisite: High school algebra. Credit will not be given for both MATH 1200 and PSY 1340 or MATH 1200 and QMBE 1310. Credits: 4 credits
