Course Description
Goals: This course acquaints students with various methodological approaches used in the fields of public health and health sciences. Students will gain experience in research design and methodology, data collection methods, and analytical techniques through the development of a research proposal. Content: Data collection and analysis methods, study design, qualitative methods, methods of monitoring, evidence-based decision making. Prerequisites: HSCI 1100 and one of the following: MATH 1200, MATH 3200, PSY 1340, or QMBE 1310 Credits: 4 credits
