Course Description
Goals: A critical study of a specific topic in British literature. Content: Intensive analysis of texts in their cultural contexts. Topics vary from year to year. Recent examples: medieval lowlife, Arthurian legends, Renaissance drama, Romantic poetry, Victorian novel, modernism, contemporary novel. Taught: Annually. Prerequisites: ENG 3010; and ENG 3020 (may be taken concurrently). A student may register for this course more than once for different topics. Credits: 4 credits
