Student affairs is the division of support services for students at institutions of higher education, designed to enhance student growth, learning, and development. Students will explore the professional field of student affairs in a highly interactive and interdisciplinary January term course. The course is designed to be experiential, while focusing on gaining transferable skills and knowledge that can be applied in the job search and beyond. This course will assist students in developing an understanding of the profession, which will give them formal training and an advantage in the pursuit of a professional position or graduate school.
