Course Description
Goals: To provide an overview of major theories of personality; to evaluate theories of personality from a variety of psychological perspectives; to understand the application of theoretical principles to practical problems. Content: Major theories of personality are presented, with an emphasis on analyses of personality organization, development, assessment, and change. Major theories include psychoanalysis, trait models, humanistic models, and behavioral and cognitive approaches. Taught: Annually Prerequisite: PSY 1330 or equivalent.
