Goals: To explore politics, government, and society in Asian Pacific region. To understand both the major themes and issues in Asian Pacific politics and the diverse experiences of individual countries. Content: National legacy, state or nation building, constitution and government structure; policy processes and the relationship between government and society; the impact of external and regional forces on individual countries. Taught: Annually. Prerequisites: PSCI 1430: World Politics is recommended.
