Course Description
MALS: Capstone Project MFA: N/A The synthesis project reflects a widened perspective on a particular issue. It demonstrates the student's ability to integrate materials, draw independent conclusions, and communicate results. The synthesis includes a written component and may include additional material from other media such as film, video or audio tape, music, or graphic art. An alternative model is the creative synthesis, consisting of an introduction addressing the development of the work and situating it within the genre plus a body of creative work in fiction, nonfiction or poetry. Special registration is required. Please contact your advisor or the program office.
