Course Description
Goals: This interdisciplinary research methods seminar introduces students to a variety of methodological research paradigms. In this course students will learn about conducting research from an interdisciplinary perspective and will develop knowledge and skills in theory, epistemology, ontology, research methods and practice of approaching problems, issues or events from an interdisciplinary perspective so they can understand how to synthesize multiple fields of study into a research project, and develop sophisticated research proposals (that they may ultimately use as a foundation for their senior theses or capstone projects). Prerequisite: GLOB 1910, declared major/minor in an interdisciplinary program, or consent of instructor Credits: 4 cre
