Course Description
Become competent in the identification and assessment process of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Review Minnesota State Criteria for the process of identification and compare and contrast with other disability areas. Learn to effectively select assessments, administer and report performance that leads to identification of educational needs. This course will address factors that impact evaluation procedures and learn to collaborate with families, team members and community resources. Participants will design goals and objectives that address the core features of ASD and the planning process. Prerequisite: SPED 7091
