Learn more about brain injuries, from concussion to traumatic brain injury; how they affect K-12 school performance; and the sort of measures used to assess degree of injury. Examine how to accommodate these injuries; responsibilities of the school to facilitate learning across settings (hospital, home, and classroom); the roles of coaches, teachers, and school personnel in accommodating concussions; and how to interpret medical reports and recommendations from doctors to return to school or engage in athletics.
