Course Description
Goals: This course expands upon the concepts learned in EXSC 3510, and applies them to clinical populations. Content: Students will gain an understanding of the physiological mechanisms that underlie many of the chronic diseases that contribute to the leading causes of mortality in the US, how testing is performed for markers of many conditions, and how exercise is essential to their prevention and treatment. Taught: Annually Prerequisite: EXSC 3510 or instructor permission Credits: 4
