Course Description
The course will cover topics in combinatorial enumeration, the probabilistic methods in combinatorics, optimization problems in graph and hypergraph theory, especially as these apply to techniques widely used in machine learning, such as decision trees and computational learning theory. Programming in C++ will play an important role in the projects for this course. Prerequisite: CSCI 1250 or the equivalent. Please see the instructor if there are questions.
