Course Description
Goals: In this course students write and revise works of fiction based on instructor feedback and constructive feedback from their peers. Attention is paid to the application of the techniques of fiction. Content: Participants provide oral and written feedback which reflects an advanced understanding of the craft of fiction. Respectful and constructive workshop methods are practiced. The class may include reading of selected contemporary fiction, encouraging students to read as creative writers. Taught: Annually Prerequisites: WRIT 3000, 3120, and 3220. Note: Restricted to creative writing majors or consent of the instructor. Credits: 4
