Course Description
Goals: The senior seminar will be a capstone course that combines a theories and methods of religion component with a final written project and oral presentation focused on the student’s primary tradition of study. Content: Students will be introduced to the major thinkers from multiple disciplines who influenced the development of religious studies in the West. These will include psychologists, anthropologists, sociologists, historians of religion, theologians, philosophers, those with a phenomenological approach, and post-structuralists. Taught: Annually Prerequisites: Two 3000-level religion courses Note: Only religion majors and minors are eligible to enroll in this course. Credits: 4
