Course Description
The course will cover the events in the capital markets that lead to the credit crisis of 2008. We will look at how the environment was developed that could create a crisis in our banking system and how that environment has changed since. We will look at how different markets affected each other and what decisions from different parties were most influential leading up to and coming out of the the crisis. The course will look at several books written on the topic including The Big Short and Too Big to Fail and try to understand the different perspectives of the parties involved.
