Sharks and rays: exotic to mundane, amazing creatures long misunderstood. Long featured in myths and legends, sharks may be the most readily recognized marine species. But, did you know that rays are one of their closest relatives? Join in the study of fossil and living sharks and rays to find out how they're related, how they navigate in the dark seas and other extraordinary sensory and reproductive features shared by sharks and rays. Offered in partnership with the American Museum of Natural History. Accelerated online schedule. Target audience: educators 6-adult. Note: Shortly before the course begins, you will receive an email directly from AMNH providing information on how to access the online course. The e-mail will go to your "preferred" e-mail address (as listed in the Hamline database), and you should receive it by the week prior to the course start date. Courses offered in partnership with AMNH are nonrefundable after the start date of the course. Please contact gcs@hamline.edu for the current tuition amount.
