Course Description
An overview of English grammar designed for teachers of ESL grades K-Adult. Develop an understanding of the basics of English grammar both descriptively and pedagogically, particularly in areas that cause difficulties for learners of English as a second language. Improve your skills at error analysis and your ability to effectively incorporate grammar instruction into your classroom in a way that is meaningful and interesting to your learners. NOTE: Should be taken after or concurrently with a linguistics course. Target audience: educators K-Adult.
