Course Description

This course will provide a research base for understanding various types of bullying, the characteristics of those engaged in bullying, and essential intervention elements to successfully address bullying behavior. It will also provide practical strategies for creating system wide change concerning bullying and bystander behavior. For students interested in completing a Bullying Prevention Certificate, this course is a prerequisite for all other courses. Students may also co-enroll in this course while they are enrolled in another required course.
