Course Description
Develop the skills to prepare and assist students/clients in applying to postsecondary institutions. When students/clients understand career options, they are able to narrow their college options and better focus their search. Understanding of the various post-secondary options, learn admission criteria, gain insight into choosing a college, and develop the tools to create a college admissions program. Target audience: junior high, middle and high school counselors; career center specialists and teachers of career classes; individuals interested in developing an independent college-counseling practice. NOTE: This course is required for completion of the College Admissions Counseling Certificate.
