Course Description
What a state - three biomes, Lake Superior, and the Mississippi River! Why do we have such diversity? What are the combinations of weather, soil, geology, climate, and cultural development that have caused the diversity and beauty that we enjoy in our recreation and exploration. What makes Minnesota unique? What is our story? This course is designed to explore the state and provide you with background that you can use in your class and your personal life. NOTE: Please register one week prior to course start date to ensure receipt of any information that may be mailed to participants. Can be used in Areas 1, 2, 3, 4 of the Certificate in Environmental Education. Target audience: teachers K-12.
